ADA, Ohio – Mihaela Toader (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mount Lebanon) and Lydia Giannini (Warren, Pa./Eisenhower) represented the Allegheny women's track and field team at the Ohio Northern Polar Bear Final Qualifier Friday and Saturday (March 3-4).
 
Toader collected wins in two events. She won the 400 meter run with a time of 58.35 before finishing first later on in the 200 meter run, crossing the finish line with a time of 26.02.
 
Giannini competed in the weight throw. She placed seventh with a toss of 13.77 meters.
 
The Gators are off until March 17-18 when they open the outdoor portion of their season at the Stan Romanoski Open, hosted by West Virginia University.
