Box Score WAYNESBURG, Pa. -- The Allegheny College men's tennis team won its fourth consecutive match and improved to 2-0 against Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) opponents by defeating Waynesburg University, 9-0, on the road on Tuesday afternoon.
Allegheny (8-3, 2-0 PAC), which was voted the No. 1 team in the PAC in the conference's preseason coaches' poll, cruised to an easy win over the host Yellow Jackets (0-4, 0-1 PAC).
The Gators dropped only four points in the entire match and earned shutout wins in six different matches. The second and third doubles matches both ended in 8-0 scores, while

David Rodriguez (St. Ann's, Trinidad and Tobago/Fatima College),
Evan Nelson (Scituate, Mass./Scituate), and
Will Jarvie (Wilton, Conn./Wilton) each earned straight-set wins by 6-0, 6-0 scores in singles action.
