College Sports Communicators Release
MEADVILLE, Pa. – Maggie Baham (Glen, Allen, Va./Glen Allen),
Ariana Clark (Freeport, Pa./Freeport),
Jenna Halenda (Mars, Pa./Mars) and
Olivia Kraus (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny) were named to the 2022-23 Academic All-District Women's Swimming and Diving Team by the College Sports Communicators (CSC).
Academic All-District honorees will advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced mid-March.
To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher and have competed in at least 50% of the team's competition throughout the season.
At the 2023 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships, Baham placed fourth in the 200 butterfly and fifth in the 100 butterfly. She was also a member of the third place 200 and 400 medley and 200 freestyle relay teams.
Clark finished third in the 200 backstroke, fourth in the 400 individual medley, seventh in the 100 backstroke at the PAC Championships. She was also part of third place 200 and 400 medley relay teams.
Halenda took fifth in the 200 freestyle and ninth in both the 200 backstroke and 500 freestyle. She was also a member of the third place 200 and 400 freestyle relay teams.
Kraus captured both the 50 and 100 freestyle titles at the PAC Championships. Additionally, Kraus took fourth in the 100 butterfly and was a member of the third place 200 and 400 freestyle as well as the 200 and 400 medley relay teams. She earned PAC Swimmer of the Week honors November.
