MEADVILLE, Pa. – Five student-athletes from the Allegheny College men's soccer team were placed on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team for their performances on and off the field during the 2023 season.
Gunnar Brettell (Steubenville, Ohio/Indian Creek),
Caleb Kendra (Beaver Falls, Pa./Riverside),
Graham Kralic (Beaver Falls, Pa./Riverside),
William Lowthert (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg) and
Matthew Taliani (Cheswick, Pa./Springdale) earned the accolades.
To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher, and have played in at least 90 percent or started in 66 percent of the team's competitions throughout the season.
Academic All-District winners advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, Second-, and Third-Team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in December.
