ECAC Release

DANBURY, Conn. -- The Allegheny College volleyball team was one of four teams selected to compete in the 2023 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Volleyball Championship, as announced by the ECAC on Monday morning.

This year's ECAC Division III Volleyball Championship will be hosted by William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey, on Saturday, November 18.

Allegheny (22-9), the No. 2 seed, will face a familiar foe in the tournament semifinals. The Gators will take on third-seeded Penn State Behrend (21-6) on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. In this year's home opener on September 13, Allegheny swept the Lions in three sets thanks in part to a season-high .430 attack percentage.

The other semifinal will feature top-seeded William Paterson (25-6) against No. 4 FDU-Florham (14-13). Winners from each semifinal will meet in the championship match at 3:00 p.m.
