ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Allegheny men's swimming and diving team dropped their final regular season meet on the road at Mount Union Friday (Jan, 27).
The Gators fell to the Raiders 163-37.
Pierre Jaeggi (Fountain Valley, Calif./Valiant Prep) logged the lone win for the Gators. He captured the 100 butterfly with a time of 53.99.
Dalton Lodzins (Anchorage, Alaska/Chugiak) had a runner-up finish in the 100 freestyle while
Emmet Fluharty (Cleveland, Ohio/Cleveland Heights) took second in the 100 breaststroke.
The Gators also logged a trio of third-place finishes.
Jack Malnar (Brecksville, Ohio/Brecksville-Broadview Heights) took third in the 50 freestyle,
Emmett Manning (Holmdel, N.J./Holmdel) finished third in the 100 backstroke and
Daniel Jackson (Warwick, N.Y./Warwick Valley) placed third in the 200 individual medley.
The 200 freestyle relay as well as the 200 medley relay teams consisting of Manning, Jaeggi, Jackson and Lodzins had second-place finishes.
