NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- Following a runner-up finish at Mercyhurst University's Evann Parker Memorial, Allegheny College's
Camille O'Halloran was recognized as the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Women's Golf Player of the Week.
In an 11-team field filled with Division II competition, O'Halloran completed 36 holes at the Lake View Country Club in North East, Pennsylvania, with a 7-over 151. On Friday, the New Jersey product fired a 75 (+3), and she followed up with a 76 (+4) during the final round on Saturday. In both rounds, O'Halloran ended up just one stroke shy of the individual medalist, Gannon University's Sarah White, who carded a two-day total of 149 (+5). O'Halloran was one of eight in the field of 67 participants to card a round in the 70s, and one of only four to do so on both days of the tournament.
The weekly award is the fourth of O'Halloran's career and her first from the PAC. She received three Player of the Week Awards from the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC).
The AC women's golf team returns to the Country Club of Meadville on Sunday, September 25, and Monday, September 26, for the Guy and Jeane Kuhn Invitational.
