ALLIANCE, Ohio – Members of the Allegheny track and field teams represented the Gators Thursday (May 19) at the Mount Union Last Chance Meet.
 
Mihaela Toader (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mount Lebanon) broke the school record in the 100 meter dash as she finished third with a time of 12.42 seconds. The previous record of 12.50 seconds was set by Beth Muller in 2011. She also finished fourth in the 200 meter dash with a time of 25.48.
 
Logan Meyer (Mount Vernon, Ohio/Mount Vernon) ran a personal best time of 3:56.29 in the 1,500 meter run, finishing fourth.
 
Tylir Shannon (Transfer, Pa./Reynolds) finished third in the 200 meter dash with a time of 21.73.
 
Shannon, Nick Murawski (Grove City, Pa./Grove City), Holden Ford (Pittsburgh, Pa./Upper Saint Clair) and Anthony Steinpreis (Tempe, Ariz./Marcos De Niza) competed in the 4x100 relay, taking fourth with a time of 42.31.
 
Stephen Cullinan (Bel Air, Md./Bel Air) took fifth in the pole vault, clearing a height of 4.11 meters.
