ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Allegheny men's golf team continued its 2022 spring season at the Kravetz Invitational, hosted by Rochester at Irondequoit Country Club and Oak Hills Country Club.

Allegheny finished the two-day, 36-hole event in eighth-place with a team score of 641.

Carter Hassenplug (North East, Pa./North East) had the top finish for the Gators as he carded 75s in both rounds to tie for fourth overall. Faaris Cheema (Dubai, UAE/Kings School Al Basha) was second for the Gators, shooting rounds of 83 and 80 to tie for 31st. Bergas Anargya (Jakarta, Indonesia/Binus School Simprug) was not too far behind Cheema as his scores of 81 and 84 put him in a tie for 34th. Shane Kelley (Glenshaw, Pa./Central Catholic) placed 41st with a 169 while Ryan Dayton (Allison Park, Pa./Hampton) finished 42nd with 170.

The Gators are back in action April 23-24 at the NCAC/OAC Clash in Howard, Ohio.
