PAC Release

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Sarah Santicola (Moon Township, Pa./Moon Area) of the women's basketball team was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Rookie of the Week.
 
For the week, Santicola averaged 9.5 rebounds and nine rebounds per game in a pair of contests. This marks the second straight week that a Gator has earned the honor after Jess Bickart (Cranberry Township, Pa./Seneca Valley) received it last week.
 
In a 73-55 PAC victory on the road at Bethany, Santicola registered 10 points, eight rebounds and three blocks. Against Case Western Reserve, Santicola tallied 11 rebounds, eight points and a pair of blocks. On the season, Santicola leads the Gators in rebounds (8.7 per game) and blocks (15) while also averaging 8.6 points per game.
 
The Gators are back in action Wednesday (Nov. 30) when they host Geneva in a PAC contest. Tip-off is set for 6:30 pm.
