GREENVILLE, Pa. – Allegheny College head women's basketball coach Kelly Muffley is set to be inducted into the Thiel College Athletics Hall of Fame.
 
The ceremony will take place on October 3 in Greenville.
 
"It is truly an honor to be inducted into the Hall of Fame at Thiel College this fall," said Muffley. "Thiel was a place that meant so much to me, from the teammates, to the coaches and the professors. To be inducted with such a great group of athletes and competitors means the world to me."
 
Muffley was a four-year starter for the Tomcats and earned a pair of All-Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) honors, including a first-team nod in 2013. She is just one of 16 players in program history to reach 1,000 career points as her 1,238 points ranks sixth in team history. Muffley's name can be found several more times in the Tomcat record books and she is first all-time in free-throw percentage (.857), second in three-point field goals made (180), and attempted (494).
 
"I am grateful to everyone who helped me get there along the way, especially my Dad, who inspired and motivated me during all those years of competing," concluded Muffley.
 
In five seasons at Allegheny, Muffley's players have earned 11 all-conference honors, including five first-team nods. For the 2024-25 season, Emily Lauer '25 was named the PAC Player of the Year while Isabella Antonacci was named the Newcomer of the Year. Additionally, Muffley led the team to the ECAC Championship that season. Her teams have also qualified for the PAC Championship Tournament in each season in the league.
