D3hoops.com Release
MEADVILLE, Pa. -- For the second year in a row, a member of the Allegheny College women's basketball team was recognized by D3hoops.com with all-region honors.
Isabella Antonacci (Indiana, Pa./Indiana Area) was named to the All-Region VII Third Team after a standout sophomore season. Antonacci was previously included on the All-Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) First Team for the 2025-26 season and was announced as a finalist for the coveted Jostens Trophy last week.
The second-year guard ranks among national leaders thanks to her ability to distribute the basketball to her teammates. Antonacci is sixth nationally in assists per game (5.5), ninth in total assists (143), and 21st in assist/turnover ratio (2.01). Allegheny's top scorer, she also finished third in the PAC with 17.1 points per game, while her 445 total points were the seventh-most in team single-season history. Antonacci reached double figures in 25 of 26 games, highlighted by a 36-point performance in the season-opener against No. 6 Washington and Lee University. She logged three double-doubles and earned a rare triple-double with 13 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists in a 61-45 win over Franciscan University on February 14. Antonacci also broke a team record with 16 assists – tied for the most by any D-III women's basketball player in 2025-26 – in Allegheny's 101-37 victory against the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford on January 3.
Antonacci is the sixth student-athlete in team history to earn all-region accolades. She joins former teammate
Emily Lauer '25, who was named to the All-Region VII Second Team last winter after being crowned the PAC Player of the Year.
