MEADVILLE, Pa. -- Allegheny carded a two-day score of 610 (308-302) to finish fourth of 13 teams at its annual home event, the Guy and Jeanne Kuhn Memorial Invitational, hosted at The Country Club of Meadville.

Gannon took home the team title with a 590 (291-299) behind individual medalist Connor Bennink (69-71-140).

Allegheny was led by Carter Hassenplug (North East, Pa./North East) who placed eighth with a two-over par 146, rebounding on day two to finish one stroke under par at 71, after a three-over 75 to open play on Sunday.

Ryan Dayton (Allison Park, Pa./Hampton) was second for the Gators and tied for 12th overall with an eight-over 152 (77-75). Shane Kelley (Glenshaw, Pa./Central Catholic) finished third for the Blue & Gold and tied for 28th in the 68-golfer field with a 157 (77-80). Tyler Pham (Davie, Fla./The Sagemont School) and Faaris Cheema (Dubai, UAE/Kings School Al Barsha) tied for the final spot in the lineup as both posted 159 and tied for 34th, with Pham going 83-76 and Cheema posting a 79-80.

The Gators return to the course at The Tartan Invitational, hosted by Carnegie Mellon at Laurel Valley Golf Club in Ligonier, Pa., on Mon.-Tues., Oct. 11-12. The event begins with 36 holes on Monday and concludes with a single 18-hole round on Tuesday.
