OBERLIN, Ohio -- The Allegheny swimming & diving teams concluded the 2021 portion of their schedule at the Oberlin Invitational Nov. 18-20.
 
The Gator women finished second of nine teams with a score of 1170.5.  The women won nine total events, including four relays.  Olivia Kraus (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny) won two events, the 50 and 100 freestyle.  Sadie Brown (Portland, Ore./Pacific Crest Community) won the 100 butterfly, Maggie Bilquin (Niagara Falls, N.Y./Niagara Falls) won the 200 breaststroke and Maggie Baham (Glen Allen, Va./Glen Allen) won the 200 butterfly.
 
On the men's side, the Gators accumulated 994.5 points to take fourth.  Daniel Jackson (Warwick, N.Y./Warwick Valley) won both the 200 breaststroke and the 400 individual medley. In the preliminaries of the 400 IM, Jackson set a meet record with a time of 4:09.38.
 
The Gators are back in action Jan. 14 when they play host to Westminster.
