GROVE CITY, Pa.—A trio of Allegheny men's cross country runners competed at the Grove City Twilight 5k dual Friday (Nov. 8).
 
The Gators took the top-three positions.
 
Alex Spiro (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg Area) led the Gators as he won the race with a time of 16:46.82, a pace of 5:24.  Liam McCann (New Albany, Ohio/Columbus Academy) was the runner-up with a time of 16:55.64, a pace of 5:26.  Sebastian Mcrae (Redmond, Wash./Redmond) rounded out the Gator trio in third with a time of 17:02.38, a pace of 5:29. 
 
The Gators are back in action next Saturday (Nov. 16) when they compete at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional held in Grand Rapids, Mich.
