GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.—The Allegheny men's cross country team competed at the 2019 NCAA Great Lakes Regional Saturday (Nov. 16), hosted by Calvin College.
The team finished the meet in 17
th place, tallying a score of 483.
Reigning North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Championships Newcomer of the Year,
Owen Isham (State Area, Pa./State College Area), paced the Gators, placing 37
th overall with a time of 24:57.09.
Sophomroe
Logan Meyer (Mount Vernon, Ohio/Mount Vernon) was the second Gator to cross the finish line, finishing in 71
st-place with a time of 25:37.90.
Freshman
Mac Polny (Robinson, Pa./Montour) crossed the line next, placing 113
th with a time of 26:07.38.
Sophomore
Tim Weighart (Brookline, Mass./Brookline) took 130
th-place with a time of 26:23.25.
Senior
Seth Conard (Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio/Woodridge) rounded out the top-five for the Gators, as he finished right behind Weighart in 132
nd-place with a time of 26:26.22.
Senior
Luke Kellett (Pasadena, Md./Chesapeake) finished in 166
th-place (27:00.79) and
Adam Cook (Pittsburgh, Pa./Fox Chapel) in 175
th-place (27:12.99) for the Gators sixth and seventh runners.
Host Calvin won the team title with a score of 43. Chase Hampton of Otterbein captured the individual championship with a time of 24:02.20.
