ERIE, Pa.—The Allegheny College men's tennis team competed in their first 2017-18 North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) contest against Denison University in Erie Friday (Feb. 23).

The Big Red won 9-0.

With the loss, the Gators fall to 4-2 on the year.

At first doubles,
Jai Redkar and
Cooper Miller faced off against Kevin Brown and Jamie McDonald. The match was tight but a Denison break gave them the match 8-6.

After dropping his fifth singles set 6-2, Miller fought back in the second set against Patrick McGuigan but a Denison break led to a 6-4 Big Red win.

The Gators are back in action March 20 when they head to Hilton Head, S.C. to face Carelton College.
