MEADVILLE, Pa.—The Allegheny College men's tennis team continued their 2017 fall schedule at home against Saint Vincent's College Tuesday (Sept. 26).
The Gators swept the match, 9-0. In the win, the Gators dropped just three games.
Colton Johnson Taylor and
Zach Anderson were the first off the court in doubles as they had a clean 8-0 sweep against Zach Fox and Riley Maruca at second doubles.
At third singles,
Niall Kneerim and Mackenzie also had a clean 8-0 sweep against Alex DeLuca and Luke Good.
Jai Redkar and
Cooper Miller closed out the doubles sweep at first, defeating Jon Oskin and Ryan Hartz 8-0.
Miller was the first off the court in singles play, defeating Good at sixth 6-0, 6-0.

At third singles,
Mike Siegel defeated Zach Fox 6-0, 6-0.
Jacob Stringer also had a clean 6-0 sweep at fifth singles against Muruca. Johnson Taylor picked up a 6-0, 6-0 win at second singles against Hartz while Redkar defeated Oskin 6-1, 6-0 at first singles.
Mackenzie Knowlton completed the sweep with a 6-0, 6-0 win over DeLuca at fifth singles.
The Gators are back in action this weekend at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Regional Tournament hosted Kalamazoo College.
