GRANVILLE, Ohio – The Gators kicked off a busy weekend with an 8-1 setback to nationally-ranked No. 35 and regionally-ranked No. 9 Denison on Saturday afternoon.

Junior Thomas Manning scored the squad's lone win at second-flight doubles, picking up the critical first set win before outlasting Jackson O'Gorman Bean 6-3, 6-7 (5-7), 10-8.  Classmate Tyler Triolo held a first set lead but dropped a 2-6, 6-1, 10-7 match at top-flight singles, as senior Alexander Hurtuk fell, 7-6, (7-3), 7-5.

The top-flight pairing of Triolo and Manning dropped a tightly-contested, 9-8 decision in doubles, as the third-flight squad of senior Daniel Conroy and freshman Jai Redkar fell, 8-6.

Allegheny will next take on Kenyon in Gambier, Ohio at 10 a.m. on Sunday, April 12th.
