MEADVILLE, Pa. --

Chris Brennan scored goals to guide the Allegheny men's soccer team to its first home win -- and first victory on the North Coast Athletic Conference schedule -- with a 2-1 victory over Earlham on Saturday at Frank B. Fuhrer Field.
Weintraub connected in the 49th minute with an assist from
Adam Spisak. Spisak fired the ball in on a throw-in to Weintraub, who one-touched the ball and then smashed it into the net from outside the 18-yard box.

James Fulton took a corner kick, Brennan finished the play with a header.
The Quakers (6-5-3, 1-3-1) struck back late with a goal in the 89th minute. Nick Colstello handled the ball on Allegheny's end line and sent a cross pass to Irhad Strika, who headed the ball past Gator goalkeeper
Andrew Shirley.
Shirley finished with the win. He had two saves. At the opposite end, Earlham goalie Jonah Kreniske stopped four shots.
Allegheny (6-6-1, 1-3-1) will be in action next on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. kickoff at Oberlin.
