Allegheny Named Host for ITA Summer Series Tournament

MEADVILLE, Pa. -- The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has selected Allegheny College as a host site for this year's ITA Summer Points Race Series, powered by World Tennis Number (WTN).

The Gators and the Robertson Athletic Complex will host one of 10 tournaments during the third week of the ITA Summer Points Race Series from Friday, June 27, through Sunday, June 29, along with La Mirada, California (Biola University), Fresno, California (Fresno State), Allendale, Michigan (Grand Valley State), Tyler, Texas (Tyler Junior College and UT Tyler), Chestertown, Maryland (Washington College), and Wichita, Kansas (Wichita State).

Allegheny is one of only two Pennsylvania-based institutions on this schedule during the six-week-long competition.

The ITA Summer Series Points Race utilizes a results-based points system to track outstanding performers. At the conclusion of the Summer Points Race Series, the finishers in standings will receive automatic entry into the main draw of the ITA National Summer Championships. A valid 2025 ITA Player Membership is required to compete in all Summer Series Events.

Registration for the third week of the series at the Robertson Athletic Complex costs $70.00 and closes on Tuesday, June 24, at midnight. For more information, please click here.
