TRAFFORD, Pa. -- After leading the Allegheny College men's soccer team to a pair of crucial Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) victories, Aidan Dyga (Wexford, Pa./North Allegheny) has been named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Offensive Player of the Week.

Dyga amassed six points on three goals in a 2-1 victory at Franciscan University on Wednesday and a 5-2 win over Thiel College on Saturday. He netted both goals in his first career multi-goal performance against the Barons, and then helped the Blue and Gold tie a season-high for goals in a game with another tally against the Tomcats.

The junior has provided an offensive spark since moving up the formation from his traditional defensive role. Dyga has scored four goals in his past three games, during which the Gators have outscored their opponents 12-4.

Allegheny, which has already secured a top-four seed in the upcoming PAC Championship Tournament, will host Saint Vincent College in its regular-season finale on Wednesday, October 29, at 7:30 p.m. The game will be played under the lights at Frank B. Fuhrer Field.
