PAC Release
TRAFFORD, Pa. -- On Wednesday the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) released its annual Women's Swimming and Diving Preseason Coaches' Poll and watchlist ahead of the 2025-26 season.
Allegheny was picked to finish sixth in the nine-team conference. The Gators received 31 points, just four shy of fifth-place Chatham University and six ahead of Franciscan University in seventh.
Grove City College, winner of six consecutive PAC championships, was once again voted the conference's preseason favorite. The Wolverines topped the rankings with 64 points and eight first-place votes.
The PAC Women's Swimmers and Divers to Watch list featured five Gators, including three returning All-PAC honorees. Seniors
Anna Kohler (Sewickley, Pa./Avonworth) and
Josephine Reiter (Pittsburgh, Pa./CAPA) were both named to the All-PAC Second Team last winter, while sophomore
Kerrigan Swartz (Brookville, Pa./Brookville Area) returns after earning All-PAC Honorable Mention during her debut season. Sophomores
Emily Arendas (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) and
Magnolia Myers (Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio/Our Lady of the Elms) round out the Allegheny quintet.
The women's swimming and diving team will hit the road for its season opener at Hiram College on Saturday, October 18, at 1 p.m.
