Allegheny College Gators NIL Marketplace

MEADVILLE, Pa. -- The Allegheny College Department of Athletics is proud to announce a partnership with Opendorse, a nationally recognized leader in the Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) landscape, to create the official Allegheny College Gators NIL Marketplace for Gator student-athletes.

Their comprehensive NIL solutions are designed to help athletes and supporters understand, build, protect, and monetize their brand value. The launch of the Allegheny College Gators NIL Marketplace will streamline exposure and opportunities for varsity student-athletes at Allegheny who wish to engage in NIL activities.

"We have been monitoring information on NIL as it evolved over the past few years and determined this is the right time for Allegheny College to offer a safe and compliant platform for our student-athletes," said Bill Ross, Allegheny's Director of Athletics and Recreation. This strategic partnership between Allegheny and Opendorse puts the College at the forefront of the NIL landscape and will help the Gators navigate the rapidly evolving industry. Allegheny is only the 16th Division III institution and the first from the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) to team with Opendorse.

The Allegheny College Gators NIL Marketplace offers brands and potential partners safe and secure access to the profiles of student-athletes who choose to engage in NIL activity. This platform includes multiple educational tools and seminars to allow student-athletes to participate at their discretion while following all applicable rules and regulations.

In addition to industry-leading NIL content, compliance, and education solutions, every Gator student-athlete will have the ability to create an Opendorse profile, which they can customize and promote to fans on their personal social media channels. Student-athletes can review and assess opportunities, accept compensation, as well as disclose NIL activities to their institution, all within the Opendorse app.
