MEADVILLE, Pa. -- Bill Ross, Director of Athletics and Recreation at Allegheny College, is pleased to announce the addition of Cole Gleeson to the administrative staff as Allegheny's Senior Athletics Business Coordinator.

In this role, Gleeson will oversee all business operations for athletics and serve as a liaison between the athletics department and the finance office. His responsibilities include analyzing and monitoring budgets, processing invoices and purchase orders, managing accounts receivable and payable, and implementing financial policies and training. Gleeson will also support the athletics department by assisting with Wise Center memberships, corporate sponsorship sales, team travel, and other athletics-related special events.

Originally from the Golden State, Gleeson brings a strong background in finance, data analytics, and business operations. He recently earned his MBA from the University of California, Davis Graduate School of Management, where he gained leadership and teaching experience while serving as a graduate teaching assistant and assistant director of finance for the graduate student government. Gleeson was also inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the international business honor society, in recognition of his academic achievement.

Before pursuing his master's degree at UC Davis, Gleeson spent five years as an impact investment analyst with HIP Investor, where he managed complex datasets, conducted financial and investment analysis, and managed client relationships. He graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in financial management.
