MEADVILLE, Pa. -- Brent Herrmann (Canfield, Ohio/Canfield) earned additional honors for his banner performance against the University of Rochester after being named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week.

The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Pitcher of the Week, Herrmann, tossed a complete-game shutout in a 3-0 victory over Rochester in the first half of Saturday's doubleheader. The senior southpaw allowed only two hits and struck out six. It was the first complete game of his career and his 10th win on the mound as a Gator.

Herrmann is the first Gator to throw nine innings in a complete game since 2019 and the first to throw a nine-inning shutout since 2015. He's the first D3baseball.com Team of the Week selection since Daniel Morgano '23 was recognized on April 26, 2023, following three hitless relief appearances against Geneva College and Waynesburg University.

Allegheny returns to action on Saturday, March 23, when the Gators travel to Franciscan University for their 2024 PAC opener against the Barons. The doubleheader is slated for a 1:00 p.m. start.
