MEADVILLE, Pa. -- A year removed from the program's first-ever playoff appearance, the Allegheny College men's lacrosse team is set to embark on a 14-game schedule for the 2024 season.

First-year head coach Jeff Roberts will guide the Gators through six non-conference games and eight Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) contests this spring. The schedule is road-heavy this year, as Allegheny is only slated to play six times at Frank B. Fuhrer Field.

Allegheny opens on the road against Ohio Northern University on Saturday, February 24, at 1:00 p.m. The home opener against the University of Mount Union is set for Wednesday, February 28, as the Gators host the Purple Raiders under the lights at 7:00 p.m.

Three of the following four games require out-of-state road trips, including a spring break excursion to Virginia to face Shenandoah University (3/6) and Bridgewater College (3/9), both out of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC).

The College of Wooster will travel to Meadville for a matchup on Wednesday, March 20, at 7:00 p.m. The following week on Thursday, March 28, the Gators will welcome Washington and Jefferson College to the Robertson Athletic Complex for the 2024 PAC opener.

The Gators also host key conference games against Westminster College on Saturday, April 6, and against Chatham on Wednesday, April 17.

In the penultimate game of the regular season on Saturday, April 20, Allegheny will travel to last year's PAC champions from Grove City College. The regular-season finale is scheduled for the following week on Saturday, April 27, with a 1:00 p.m. start against Franciscan University.
