Schedule changes abound this week for men's basketball

***UPDATE: Allegheny has moved the home game vs Oberlin, previously scheduled for Weds., Feb. 16, up to this Friday, Jan. 7. The game will take place in the Wise Center at 5 p.m., and all fans must wear masks as has been the policy all season.***

MEADVILLE, Pa. -- Due to COVID-19 protocols at Wittenberg, Wabash and DePauw, the Allegheny men's basketball team's games against those schools for this week have been postponed.

The Gators were scheduled to play at Wittenberg this evening, Wednesday, Jan. 5, at 5 p.m., but found out this afternoon that the game would not be able to be played. Additionally, Saturday's game against Wabash and Sunday's match-up with DePauw are both postponed as well. No make-up dates and times have been set as of now.

However, with both Hiram and Allegheny losing their pair of games this weekend, the two teams will move their North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) game at Hiram, previously scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 26, up to this Sunday, Jan. 9, at 3 p.m. in Ohio.

As the season progresses, additional changes are possible. We will continue to maintain the most accurate, up-to-date information on alleghenygators.com, and will have links for any available live coverage for those who are unable to attend.
