MEADVILLE, Pa. -- The Allegheny College Department of Athletics and Recreation will launch an online celebration of the football program's 1990 National Championship win this November.

Beginning on Sunday, November 8, one recap and statistical summary from each game will be rereleased on alleghenygators.com per day leading up to Saturday, November 21 when the NCAA Division III Championship Game against Lycoming will be reaired at 11:00 a.m. via the Gators' online live streaming platform: https://team1sports.com/Allegheny/.

Wrapping up the celebration, on Sunday, November 22, will be a virtual "Where are they now?" feature, showcasing what some of the players, coaches and cheerleaders from that era have done since graduating. Anyone affiliated with that team that wishes to participate may fill out this form: 1990 Allegheny Football - Where are they now? Deadline for submissions is Friday, November 13.

Fans, alumni and current Gators will have a chance to purchase special edition 30th anniversary gear at a team shop to be opened soon. To know when the store opens, be sure to follow Allegheny Football on Twitter, @AlleghenyFB. Store link and access code: https://www.bsnteamsports.com/shop/ACFBNC30A, Access Code: ACFBNC30A

En route to the 1990 national championship, the Gators recorded the third undefeated season in program history and the only one with double-digit wins. Allegheny captured its fifth overall North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) title and what would be the third of seven-straight NCAC championships. Coach Ken O'Keefe was awarded his first of four NCAC Coach of the Year honors, while several players brought home first and second team All-NCAC accolades.
