Box Score KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Gaby DeLeon (Weatherford, Texas/Weatherford) and Katherine Marks (Argyle, Texas/Liberty Christian) competed in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association tournament on Thursday and Friday (Sept. 19-20).

In doubles, they lost a competitive match against Washington University's Divya Sharma and Sahjna Tripathy, 8-7 (4), in a tiebreaker. Then in the consolation bracket, the pair caught fire, making it into the third round. In the first round, they defeated Augustana 8-4. DeLeon and Marks then went on to beat Kalamazoo 8-7 (7-1) in another tiebreaker, to push the Gators into the semifinal matchup, which they unfortunately lost to DePauw. 

In the singles consolation bracket, Marks earned one win on her way into the second round with a three-set win over Monique Brual of Denison by scores of 5-7, 6-4, and 10-6.

The Gators will return to their home court for the Nancy & Harvey Heath Gator Invitational, starting on Sept. 28 as Allegheny faces Ohio Northern at 8:30 a.m.
