Sophomore Matthew Nardozzi had a big hand in helping the Gator men capture the team championship at the Fredonia Blue Devil Invitational. Nardozzi opened the three-day event by winning the 1650 freestyle in a time of 9:48.28, good for a 50-second margin, and a new Fredonia facility record. He also had an individual victory in the 500 freestyle, while he helped the Gators' 400 medley relay team to a first-place finish. In addition, Nardozzi also added a second-place finish in the 400 individual medley and as part of the 800 freestyle relay squad.
