Mrdjenovich started the season in stellar fashion for the Gators, averaging 16.5 points per game to help the Gators to the Greg Richards '08 Memorial Tip-Off Tournament Championship.  In the Gators' 105-69 win over Penn State-Altoona, Mrdjenovich tied the team's game high with 17 points.  The junior then racked up 16 points against Case, helping the Gators to a historic milestone, awarding head coach Kate Costanzo her 100th career coaching victory.  Mrdjenovich finished the weekend shooting .500 from outside the arc with a game-high seven three-pointers, adding a flawless 6-6 performance from the charity stripe, shooting .385 overall during two starts for the Blue and Gold while averaging 24.0 minutes per game, the second highest total on the team.
