TRAFFORD, Pa. – Carson Colucci (Brewster, Ohio/Fairless) and Ian Shiffler (White Oak, Pa./McKeesport) of the Allegheny football team earned weekly accolades from the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) for their performances in a 27-0 win at home against Juniata.
 
Colucci was named the Offensive Player of the Week. He went 22-of-34 passing for 254 yards and three touchdowns, all of which were career-highs. He threw a 46-yard touchdown to Micah Smith (Greensboro, N.C./Northern Guilford) and 23- and 32-yard touchdown passes to Remington Rossow (West Palm Beach, Fla./Forest Hill).
 
Shiffler was named the Special Teams Player of the Week. He converted all three of his extra points as well as field goals of 20 and 29 yards.
 
The Gators open PAC play Saturday evening (Sept. 19) at home against Waynesburg as part of Blue & Gold Weekend.
