MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Allegheny women's lacrosse team hosted Chatham Wednesday night (April 8), falling to the Cougars 15-0 in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) play.
The Cougars opened the game with a first minute goal. The teams then went back-and-forth for 10 minutes until Chatham scored their second goal as they led 2-0 after 15 minutes.
The teams continued back-and-forth play in the second quarter. Neither team found the back of the net until the final minutes as the Cougars scored twice heading before the break.
In the third quarter, the Cougars tacked on five more goals as they led 9-0 heading into the final frame.
Chatham added six more goals in the fourth as the Gators fell in conference play.

- Ella Ashton (Landisville, Pa./Hempfield) made a career-high 15 saves.
- Amelia Henderson (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny) caused three turnovers and collected five groundballs.
- Sarah Santicola (Moon Township, Pa./Moon Area) and Duchess Jackson (Washington, D.C/National Cathedral School) caused two turnovers and collected two groundballs each.
- Erin Lowthert (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg Area) led the team with six groundballs.
