PAC Release
TRAFFORD, Pa. – Ryan Cochran (Pittsburgh, Pa./Deer Lakes) of the Allegheny baseball team was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Hitter of the Week for his performance last week.
In five games, Cochran hit .583 with 14 hits, four RBI, three doubles and a pair of home runs. This marks his second time earning the award this season.
In a doubleheader sweep at Thiel, Cochran went a combined six-of nine at the plate in two games. He hit home runs in each contest while doubling in the first game. During a home doubleheader against Grove City, Cochran went six-of-10 with a pair of doubles. He concluded the week with a two-hit performance, including a triple, in a road non-conference game at Oberlin.
For the season, Cochran is fourth in the PAC with a .418 average.
The Gators are on the road Tuesday (April 14) at Bethany for a PAC doubleheader.
