MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Allegheny men's lacrosse team fell at home to defending Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Champion Grove City, 25-4, Saturday (April 5) in Meadville.
The Wolverines gained a 9-1 lead in the first quarter.
Jack Cushwa (Martinsburg, W.Va./Martinsburg) scored the Allegheny goal off a pass from
JP Rakis (Kensington, Md./Walter Johnson).
In the second quarter, Cushwa scored his second goal while
CT Graniel (Scranton, Pa./Scranton Preparatory) also found the back of the net. Rakis assisted on both goals, but Grove City led 13-3 at the halftime break.
Cushwa completed his hat trick with an unassisted goal in the third quarter after he picked off a pass on a clear attempt. However, the Wolverines outpaced the Gators 12-1 in the second half as Allegheny dropped the home PAC contest.

- Konrad Homiak (Hampstead, N.C./Topsail) caused two turnovers and had two groundballs.
- Garin Stearns (Hudson, Ohio/Revere) made nine saves in net while Isaac Michalek (Buffalo, N.Y./East Aurora) made two.
