Genareo then drove Belardinelli in on an all-safe fielder's choice to tie the game. The rally continued as Blarr knocked Devries in. A RBI groundout by

Halle Book (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Catholic) then knocked Long in on a single to left field as they took a 10-2 lead into the third.
Belardinelli walked in the third before Genareo hit an infield single. Burkett entered to pinch run for Genareo. With two outs, a throwing error allowed both runners to score and Seneca to reach second. Sharp hit her second double of the contest to bring Seneca around.
