MEADVILLE, Pa. – Emily Lauer (Knox, Pa./Keystone) of the Allegheny basketball team was named to the D3hoops.com All-Region Second Team (7th Region) for her performance during the Gators' 2024-25 season.
Lauer adds this postseason honor after previously being named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Player of the Year and earning a spot on the conference's First Team. The senior was also named the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship MVP after helping the Gators capture the 2025 ECAC Championship.
For the season, Lauer averaged 16.9 points and 5.3 rebounds per a game while tallying 65 assists and 36 steals. She will graduate as the second leading scorer in program history, accumulating 1,752 points in her four-year career. Lauer scored 10 or more points in all but two games this past season while hitting 20 or more points nine times. She netted a season-high 30 points at Pitt Bradford.
Lauer is just the fifth member of the Allegheny women's basketball team to be named to a D3hoops.com All-Region Team and the first since the 2011-12 season.
