TRAFFORD, Pa. – Bella Antonacci (Indiana, Pa./Indiana Area) of the Allegheny women's basketball team was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Newcomer of the Week for her performances in a pair of conference games last week.
 
For Antonacci, this marks her third Newcomer of the Week honor, and fourth overall award from the conference this season.
 
In two games, Antonacci averaged 20 points, 8.5 rebounds and four assists per game. Against Grove City, Antonacci scored 19 points on 64% shooting (7-of-11) from the field. She also added seven rebounds and three assists. In a road victory at Franciscan, Antonacci tallied a 21 point, 10 rebound double-double with five assists. She hit seven-of-10 shots from the field in the game.
 
For the season, Antonacci is averaging 11.7 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game.
 
The Gators are back in action Wednesday (Feb. 12) at PAC leading Washington and Jefferson.
