Hall of Fame Nominations Being Accepted For Class of 2025

MEADVILLE, Pa. -- The Allegheny College Department of Athletics is now accepting nominations for the Hall of Fame Class of 2025.

To submit a nomination, please click here. Nominations submitted by Sunday, February 16, will be considered for the upcoming class. Any nominations submitted after will be considered for future selections.

This year's induction ceremony will be held inside Schultz Banquet Hall on Friday, September 26. More information about the Hall of Fame ceremony, including the availability of tickets for the public, will be released at a later date. Who Qualifies?
  • An athlete may be selected at any time beginning ten (10) years after the graduation date of his or her class. 
  • A team may be selected at any time beginning ten (10) years after the season for which recognized.
  • Nominations will be accepted and reviewed on a continuous basis. 
  • Nominations may include coaches, administrators, staff and other persons who have made outstanding contributions to athletics at Allegheny College.
  • Any Allegheny athlete or coach who has been selected for membership in any national athletic hall of fame or national athletic foundation shall be admitted for membership. 
  • Any Allegheny athlete or coach who is a participant in an athletic event in the International Olympic Games shall be admitted for membership.
  • Any Allegheny athlete or team, which achieves a national championship, shall be admitted for membership. The head coach, assistant coaches, athletic trainers, equipment managers and managers of the respective team are included as part of the team. 
  • Any individual who has made worthwhile contributions to the Allegheny athletic program may be admitted for membership.
  • The HOF committee may consider individuals who attended Allegheny College, did not play or coach, or who had a very limited career in athletics, but who later achieved great success in athletics as a coach at another college/university, as a coach or player in professional sports, or as an administrator in college, professional, international or national sports.
  • An alumnus who has not conferred for an Allegheny degree may be nominated only upon approval of seven (7) members of the HOF committee. Such person may not be nominated until twenty four (24) months have passed beyond the ten-year waiting period that he/she should have received his/her degree.
