PAC Release

TRAFFORD, Pa. -- For the third time this season, Bella Antonacci (Indiana, Pa./Indiana Area) received weekly honors from the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC), this time collecting PAC Newcomer of the Week following her performances against Thiel College and Bethany College.

Antonacci, who has twice received Newcomer of the Week in addition to one PAC Player of the Week award, averaged 13.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 2.0 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game against the Tomcats and Bison.

On Wednesday evening, Antonacci scored a game-high 21 points while leading the Gators to a season-high 92 points in a 92-66 victory over Thiel. The first-year guard shot 10-of-15 (66.7%) overall in the contest while adding seven rebounds, five assists, three steals, and one block. On Saturday, she followed up with seven boards, six points, three assists, one steal, and one block to help Allegheny take down Bethany, 71-60.

Through 16 games, all starts, Antonacci ranks third on the team in scoring (11.2), second in rebounds (7.2), and leads all Gators with 4.4 assists per contest.

Antonacci and the Allegheny women's basketball team will look to secure a series sweep of Chatham University in their next game on Saturday, January 25, at 12:00 p.m. in Pittsburgh.
