ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Allegheny men's soccer team dropped a nonconference, neutral site game against Baldwin Wallace, 2-0, Sunday (Sept. 8).
Jose Cifuentes (Guatemala City, Guatemala/The Kiski School (Pa.)) had the first opportunity to put the Gators on the board in the 10th minute but his shot attempt was saved.
The Yellow Jackets got on the board in the 14th minute, scoring a goal off a shot in the box. Baldwin Wallace tacked on one more before the half as they took a 2-0 lead into the locker room.
The two teams battled throughout the final 45 minutes.
Caleb Kendra (Beaver Falls, Pa./Riverside) made three saves and the Gator offense had scoring chances, but they were unable to find the back of the net as they fell 2-0.
