WAYNESBURG, Pa. -- For the second time in as many days, the Allegheny College women's tennis team blanked a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) foe, this time defeating Waynesburg University by a 7-0 final score on Thursday afternoon.
After dropping only five games on Wednesday against Thiel College, the Gators (6-1, 3-0 PAC) were even better against the Yellow Jackets (0-4, 0-3 PAC). Allegheny lost only four games, no more than one in any set, resulting in five shutout wins.
With the victory over Waynesburg, the Gators have now won 19 consecutive regular-season PAC matches since joining the conference ahead of the 2022-23 campaign. It's also the fourth match of the young season to end in a 7-0 score in favor of the Blue and Gold.

Julia Müsseler (Munich, Germany/Käthe-Kollwitz-Gymnasium) and
Evie Ellenberger (Pittsburgh, Pa./Upper Saint Clair)Â did not surrender a game while defeating Waynesburg's No. 1 duo of Julia Luzar and Julia Umshares. Müsseler and Ellenberger then played atop the singles lineup, with the former beating Luzar, 6-0, 6-0, and the latter taking down Umshares, 6-0, 6-1.
