ECAC Release

DANBURY, Conn. -- The Allegheny College women's soccer team placed two student-athletes on the 2024 Division Women's Soccer All-Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Teams, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.

Senior forward Emma Miller (Elyria, Ohio/Lake Ridge Academy) and sophomore midfielder Katherine Surdykowski (Chesterfield, N.J./Northern Burlington County Regional) represented the Gators on the All-ECAC First and Second Team, respectively.

Miller, the 2024 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Offensive Player of the Year and an All-Region VII First Teamer, earned another first-team nod from the ECAC after a record-setting campaign. She set a new Allegheny single-season record with 66 points and finished just one goal shy of the record for goals in a season with 27. Miller also set a new team record for points in a game with 11 (4g-3a) in an 11-0 shutout victory over Thiel College on October 26. Among national leaders, Miller ended the year ranked second in goals, third in points per game (3.30), fourth in points, fifth in goals per game (1.35), 10th in game-winning goals (6), 18th in assists (12), and 24th in assists per game (0.60).

Surdykowski, an All-PAC First Team selection, more than tripled her offensive production from her debut season and ranked second on the team in points (28), goals (10), and assists (8). She scored a goal in four consecutive games in the second half of September as part of a season-long five-game point streak. Surdykowski had a season-best five points (2g-1a) in two contests, including a 5-0 PAC victory at Washington and Jefferson College and the shutout win over Thiel in the regular-season home finale.
