MEADVILLE, Pa. -- The Allegheny College women's soccer team's tightly contested Saturday match against Grove City College came down to the wire, ending in a 1-1 tie on the blue turf at Robertson Athletic Complex.

But the Gators hung around thanks to an impressive 12 saves from sophomore goalkeeper
Alex Augustine (Fishers, Ind./Hamilton Southeastern).
Allegheny (6-5-4, 4-0-4) eventually overcame the deficit to tie it at 1-1 in the 85th minute. Sophomore
Camryn Kunz (New Kensington, Pa./Kiski Area) struck for the equalizer, assisted by junior midfielder
Madeline Schneider (Poolesville, Md./Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart).
The Gators fired two more shots in the closing minutes, but neither found their target and the score remained 1-1 until full time.Â
