NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Second-year point guard Jess Bickart (Cranberry Township, Pa./Seneca Valley) was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Athlete of the Week after helping the Gators win a pair of conference games last week.
 
Bickart averaged 16.5 rebounds, 14.0 points and 7.0 assists per game while shooting 50% from the floor in wins against Thiel and Geneva.
 
In an 88-60 win against Thiel, Bickart grabbed 11 rebounds while assisting on seven baskets with four points and a pair of steals. Her best performance of the week came in a 77-69 win against Geneva. Bickart put up career best numbers of 24 points and 22 rebounds in addition to tallying seven assists and six steals. The 22 rebounds are just three shy of the all-time Allegheny single-game mark and are the most by a Gator since Michelle Popeovec set the record with 25 against the College of Wooster on February 9, 2000.
 
For the year, Bickart is averaging 10.6 points, 9.2 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 2.4 steals per game. 
 
The Gators are back in action Wednesday (Jan. 31) against Westminster at 6 pm in Meadville.
