MEADVILLE, Pa. -- Three different Gators won a race against Westminster College, but the visiting Titans left Mellon Pool with a 151-60 victory over the Allegheny College women's swimming and diving team on Friday night.

Allegheny earned five total victories and logged a handful of season-best times in their penultimate home meet of the 2023-24 season.

Anna Kohler (Sewickley, Pa./Avonworth) was impressive in her two wins in the butterfly. Heading into the final lap of the 200-yard butterfly, she trailed Westminster's Annabelle Turner by approximately two-and-a-half seconds. However, across the final 25 yards, the Allegheny sophomore came from behind to beat Turner. Kohler was nearly four seconds better than Turner on the last lap at 35.86 seconds, and her total of 2:30.81 was a season-best.

Kohler didn't need a comeback to win the 50-yard butterfly as she was the first to the turn. However, she separated herself down the stretch to beat runner-up Christina Loewe by nearly a second.

Katya Pryshchenko (Berwyn, Pa./Aim Academy) was another double-winner for the Gators. She edged Sara MacMurdo by half a second in the 50-yard freestyle before recording a season-best time of 2:22.06 in the 200-yard backstroke.

Like Kohler, Josephine Reiter (Pittsburgh, Pa./CAPA) needed to dig deep to win the 200-yard breaststroke. Reiter was the third swimmer to complete the first lap and trailed Olivia Herman by a few seconds heading into the last leg. But the second-year standout closed the race with an incredible final 50 yards. Reiter was more than five seconds quicker than Herman and was victorious by more than two full seconds.
