MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Allegheny field hockey team hosted North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) foe Ohio Wesleyan in their 2023 home opener, falling to the Battling Bishops 6-0 Saturday (Sept. 30).
The Battling Bishops (9-0, 3-0 NCAC) scored two goals in the opening frame. Each of the goals came directly off of penalty corners. The second quarter saw another pair of Ohio Wesleyan tallies, with the second goal coming off of a penalty corner.
After a scoreless third quarter, Ohio Wesleyan tacked on two more goals in the fourth to secure the win.
