GRANVILLE, Ohio -- Allegheny College field hockey resumed North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) action on Saturday with a 5-0 loss on the road against Denison University.
Denison (3-2, 2-0 NCAC) won its third game in a row without surrendering a goal, a streak that began on September 10 with a 1-0 triumph over No. 18-ranked University of Rochester.Â
On the other hand, Allegheny (2-4, 1-1 NCAC) had difficulty creating offense despite scoring multiple goals in two of their last three outings. The Gators finished with just five shots and could not break through for a goal despite putting four on target.
