MEADVILLE, Pa. -- Allegheny College rising sophomore Dylan Fanelli (Berkeley, Calif./California High) was recognized by D3baseball.com as part of the online publication's 2023 summer honor roll after a strong performance with the San Francisco Seals.

The California native returned home to the Golden State to pitch for the Seals, members of the Bay Area Collegiate League (BACL) In 12 games, Fanelli made nine starts and struck out 35 in 43 innings of work. He finished with a 2.93 ERA and a WHIP of 1.06. Fanelli started on the mound in the BACL All-Star Game for the Valley Division, and he also made an appearance in the West Coast World Series with the Alameda Anchors. 

During his freshman season with the Gators, Fanelli pitched in three games and did not allow a hit or run in 1.2 innings of work.
